HPAC conducted the works at the St John of God Hospital Burwood in 3 stages:

• Repairing fire damage to the second floor of the building
• Nurse and medication stations
• Anti-ligature works

The major challenge during this project was to successfully carry out the works while the hospital remained fully operational.  By modifying operational techniques we ensured that patient safety was maintained and staff were uninterrupted in providing care and treatment. All works were carried out within the confines of a live environment where patient and public management was paramount.  We have been invited by the hospital to complete additional works to other areas of the facility on an ongoing basis.
